U18 Girls Claim National Title!

With the 8 - 5 win over local rival NorthSport, the Marist U18 Women took the National Club Championship title last night. John Ware's team had beaten NorthSport already by 7 goals during the round robin but had to work harder this time to retain its third U18 title in a row.

Kelly Mason was chosen Best Defensive Player of the tournament.

U18 Girls Program

The U18 Girls are current national title-holders after a convincing championship tournament last year in Rotorua, where even the second team achieved a remarkable 4th place. The girls are preparing for the U18 National Championships from September 23rd – 26th on ‘home soil’ in Auckland. Currently there are two teams successfully competing in the Northern Regional League.

The teams are coached by Jonathan Ware (Red Team) and Mandy Roberts (Blue Team).

The Team's manager is Christine Van Raalte.
